Touratech Rally 2014 / June 26-29 / Plain WA

Postby Dan E » Sun May 04, 2014 8:17 pm

So, looking for NW June Adventure Rallies, I see the Dirty Face as a NON-adventure bike event, and the Black Dog Rally as open to adventure bikes, but I also see the Touratech Rally, which seems to be geared towards adventure bikes.

.
Being new to adventure riding, the Touratech Rally seems to be more up my ally than say the Black Dog, cost is similar yet includes camping and classes and appears to be more geared towards the adventure bikes, neither includes food. Looking for input here.

Thanks

Conflicts - Conflicts - Same days as the CMA day at the Ridge and Feed the racers weekend in Shelton. How do we clone ourselves or invent a way to be two events at once???

I was looking at this as well, both for the education and the area. Food is only a few minutes away. If you're serious about going let me know.

Since it conflicts with the CMA Day at the Road Races in Shelton, I won't be doing this one.

rallies are a dime a dozen, there's practically one every weekend, but not often we get honored by a CMA day at the races. :D

The Black Dog has a very nice Adventure route btw.. Tom sometimes throws in a technical section or two, but he also offers alternate routes to go around them..

I know most those roads up in that plain/cashmere area so any time you want to go up there for a weekend, let me know.. I'll throw in a class on trackside flat repair for free. :D :D
